Vanilla Ice Cream-HOMEMADE!!!!

Okay....so summer equals ice cream. Well at least it does for me. And I just happened to be in Walmart and they had their ice cream makers on sale for $10! I couldn't stop myself, next to my love of cookies is ice cream and homemade is even better! So I went to find the easiest and tastiest vanilla homemade ice cream - and my first try was AWESOME!! Try it - even better I bet most of the ingredients are in your pantry and fridge. That is even better!

The easiest ice cream in the world! No eggs, so no cooking. Just a few ingredients and so tasty!

• Prep Time 5 Minutes
• Cook Time 30 Minutes
• Difficulty Easy

Ingredients:
• 2 cups Whole Milk
• 1 cup Half-and-half
• 1 can (14 Oz) Sweetened Condensed Milk
• 1 whole Vanilla Bean - I didn't have this so I substituted 3 teaspoons of vanilla extract.

Preparation Instructions:
In a large mixing bowl add milk, half-and-half and sweetened condensed milk. Scrape seeds from vanilla bean into milk mixture or pour your vanilla extract. Whisk together until well combined. Pour into an ice cream maker and in about 30 minutes, you’ll have delicious ice cream! If you have any left, just place in an airtight container and place in the freezer.

Our Izzie girl

Our girl is getting so grown up that I just can't get enough of her. Here she is eating her corn and just kept wanting more! Then I did her toes for the first time - she held still and wanted to show everyone! So kissable she is!

Our Montana house

Master bedroom..still a work in progress.

Matthew's room - can't find the sheets to the bed -might have to go shopping!

Izzie's bedroom. She has Matt's bed until we find her one. She went to a big girl bed with no problems!

View from dining room to living room.

Our backyard view - can't beat it!! (plus that is why we have no cell coverage!)

Our Living room/computer room/tv room - I should say all purpose room!

View looking into kitchen and dining room.

The front door. I now have a wreath on the door - sorry!

Our house - loving it!!!!

I forget to photograph our basement - it just has another family room, bedroom and our food storage room. It has so much room and I love the neighborhood!

My Joys!

So HAPPY!

Our move to Montana!

Well our family moved again! John's job took us to Missoula, MT. We had 2 weeks to find a house and move all our stuff again in less than 1 year. We found our house online - thank you Craigslist - and had John's boss' wife come look at it for us so we could rent it. We are pretty lucky on our find -it is gorgeous! We have views of the mountains and a wonderful neighborhood. We have 3 families on our street that are LDS and next door neighbors who have kids our ages, and they play well already! Our church building is 4 minutes away, but a small building. But no one is complaining - just a few minutes away-YES!! (We were driving a half-an-hour each way in Oregon.)

I will post some pictures of the house soon - I am still trying to get it organized! What a job!

Water Rafting Trip

My Bro-in-law, Steve, river guides in the summer and we were able to go along. It was so fun - 3 boats of us but BOY that Oregon water is COLD!!! But it was a beautiful day with sun and lots of laughs.

My Niece's Graduation

My niece Stefanie, graduated from High School last past June (sorry blogging and moving don't mix well). She is going to beauty school in the Fall. She is so beautiful, inside and out!
