Back to Vegas

We made it! We are back in Vegas. What a great city and people. We arrived Tuesday the 22nd and I have been unpacking the rest of the time. My poor kids. I told them that we will take them to Chuckie Cheese to celebrate when the last box is unpacked in the house. That will place a fire in them to HELP. We didn't have one in Montana and Matthew loves CC. I will post pictures a little later! But now - back to my boxes!

Seven Wonderful YEARS!!

Yesterday was our 7th year anniversary! To be married to such a wonderful man, I am truly blessed. He has been my best friend, supporter, and my rock. Here are a few pictures from our wedding day. We got married surrounded by our family in Portland, Oregon. The temple was beautiful as well as the weather. Happy Anniversary Babes! Maybe next year we won't be moving and we can really celebrate! (I didn't even put make-up on for him - what a lucky man, huh!)

Happy Birthday Matthew!

Today Matthew turns 5! My almost 10 lb baby is still big and is growing into such a mature young man (if you can say that about an 5 year old!). Matthew is such a sweet boy, so caring, and thoughtful. He loves superheros, transformers, animals, riding his bike/scooter and watching movies/TV. I love him so and am so proud to be his Mommy- Happy Birthday my big boy!

News..it's a big circle here!

We have decided to move again...boy do I hate packing. But we are heading to the sunshine (you don't have to shovel sunshine - as John is shoveling 4 inches of snow as I type this ;-) hee hee)

LAS VEGAS - here we come!! We will be heading down the end of this month, yes, you heard me right, like in 3 weeks.

Smoothie

I have tried so many smoothies. And I love Jamba Juice (My sis-in-laws work there in UT = free smoothie, when we visit!) I have tried all sorts with, oatmeal, flax, spinach, and I don't knock them, sometimes I enjoy them in my smoothie, but mostly I just want the basics-fruit and ice!

The kids and I were in a fruit/smoothie mood this afternoon and this is what we made. We loved it!

Good Morning Fruit Smoothie

1 cup ice
1 cup low-fat vanilla yogurt
1 ripe banana, cut into pieces
1 cup frozen strawberries or blueberries (I did half strawberries half blue)
1/2 cup cranberry or orange juice (I did OJ)

• Crush ice in blender. Add the rest of the ingredients and blend for 30 seconds. Pour into cups or glasses and enjoy!
