Our News

As you have probably heard, our family is moving to Oregon. We are boxing everything we own and moving to my hometown in the end of September or early October. We are trusting in the Lord to find a good job for John or me. We will be living with my family. My parents and sister's family live on 26 acres in Pleasant Hill and have invited us to join them. They have a nice little two room apartment that we will stay in until we find a job and a house to rent. That is two rooms total. Matthew and Izzie will be sleeping in the main room with the couch and tiny kitchen (fridge and sink). John and I will have the bedroom. We will be spending a lot of time in the "main house" as they call it, however I am excited to hang out with my sister, who is my best friend, and my nieces and nephews (5 total). The kids will be able to run wild and spend time with cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents on a daily basis. I just hope John doesn't go crazy with to much interaction or the RAIN!!!

You thought you needed a bra.

I had to post this. I found it on a blog I follow. It is to good to be true and makes me feel better about myself! This new mama gorilla loving her baby is beautiful. But MAN does she need a BRA! I guess it's reassuring that even in the animal kingdom, gravity takes it's toll.

The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society or I call the GLPPPS book. I just finished reading it today and LOVED IT - go out and read it NOW! You will love the characters, cry and laugh. It is one of my top 10 now.
