Smoothie

I have tried so many smoothies. And I love Jamba Juice (My sis-in-laws work there in UT = free smoothie, when we visit!) I have tried all sorts with, oatmeal, flax, spinach, and I don't knock them, sometimes I enjoy them in my smoothie, but mostly I just want the basics-fruit and ice!

The kids and I were in a fruit/smoothie mood this afternoon and this is what we made. We loved it!

Good Morning Fruit Smoothie

1 cup ice
1 cup low-fat vanilla yogurt
1 ripe banana, cut into pieces
1 cup frozen strawberries or blueberries (I did half strawberries half blue)
1/2 cup cranberry or orange juice (I did OJ)

• Crush ice in blender. Add the rest of the ingredients and blend for 30 seconds. Pour into cups or glasses and enjoy!
